GreenXT is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator to support their Navy customer.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate, implement, patch, and modify Oracle Databases
  • Evaluate usage and make recommendations to support future growth
  • Troubleshoot problems and implement approved changes
  • Conduct and record security assessments and audits of Oracle databases and supporting software and implement necessary security configurations in accordance with approved DoD Security Technical Implementation Guidelines
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years Oracle Database Administration experience
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Must be located in the Philadelphia Area, the role will be hybrid
  • Develop schemas and write procedures that conform to modern best practices and standards
  • Design and execute complex data migrations with zero data loss
  • Recommend new technology and present ideas for improvement
  • Able to work occasional off-hours
  • Provides internal and external customer support as needed
  • Possesses CompTIA Security+ and DoD Secret security clearance
  • Oracle Database Certifications
  • Ability to acquire government clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Analytical thinker
  • Aptitude for troubleshooting database and application/system errors via logs, documentation, and vendor/coworker assistance
  • Conscientious about documenting processes and modifications to system
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager
  • Oracle Database certifications a plus
  • DISA STIG/SRG experience a plus
  • Familiarity with NIST 800-53 a plus
