GreenXT is seeking a Business Financial Manager (BFM) to support their Navy customer.

This position will be supporting the AN/USQ-82(V) Program. The AN/USQ-82(V) is the family of mission-critical shipboard networks used to transfer data and messages between systems such as the DDG-51 Machinery Control System (MCS) and Integrated Bridge and Navigation System (IBNS) on US Navy ship classes (DDG-51, etc.) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) ships.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the development, revision, and tracking of acquisition documentation and workable packages including
    • Procurement Requests (PR),
    • Requests for Procurement (RFP),
    • Purchase Orders (PO), and
    • Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Utilizes the Standard Procurement System (SPS), for the procurement of scheduled Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), Government Specified Equipment (GSE) and Government Furnished Information (GFI).
  • Assists with the development, revision, execution, tracking and reporting of procurement and financial planning/execution documentation, including Task Planning Sheets (TPS), Equipment Obligation Phasing Plans (7300), Obligation Phasing Plans (OPP), Annual Phasing Plans (APP), funding documents, and other financial artifacts
  • Utilize financial tools and applications such as the Navy-Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, the NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS), the Computer Optimized Batch Reconciliation (COBRA) system, etc.
  • Provide support for the assessment and resolution of program resource/budget issues
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business, accounting, or other financial discipline
  • Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain this clearance upon position acceptance)
  • Five (5) years of experience with DoD or DoN budget/financial management and planning, contracts, and acquisition planning
  • Experience with the DoD Standard Procurement System (SPS).
  • Experience with Navy-ERP and NEPS
  • Experience with Navy procedures and policies
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to inform, influence, negotiate and problem solve.
