Job Description
GreenXT is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to support the development efforts for implementation and in-service support of Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) assessment technologies for US Naval ship systems.

Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive mappings between the data systems of naval ships to ensure seamless communication and interoperability.
- Ensure and maintain data quality across all applicable ship platforms, while utilizing engineering documentation to resolve any terminology discrepancies within the data.
- Analyze data for patterns and consistency, while working with incomplete data sets to fill in gaps.
- Analyze data outputs from the networked engineering system to derive valuable insights and inform decision making processes.
- Create data validation rules or amend existing rules to further improve accuracy and efficiency of the team’s data handling process.
- Provide engineering services and technical support to design, develop, and integrate technological improvements into ship control systems.
- Identify system and equipment parameters to develop condition assessment monitoring algorithms, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of naval ship systems.
- Tasked by and report to technical leads within Naval Surface Warfare Center Code 532
- Provide documented status updates on a regular basis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain this clearance upon position acceptance) is required for this position.
- One to three (1-3) years of professional experience, which includes:
- Proficiency of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to effectively manage large data sets, write formulas and utilize Power Query.
- Knowledgeable of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
- Exceptional organizational including meticulous attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Familiarity with Atlassian software suite, specifically Jira.
- Familiarity with Systems Engineering Process.
- Comfortable working within a team or individually.
