Green Expert Technology Inc. (GreenXT) is seeking a Software Engineer to support the U.S. Navy.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain this clearance upon position acceptance) is required for this position
  • Up to 25% travel may be required for this position 
  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in computer design, software development or computer networks 
  • Experience with Linux (Redhat, CentOS, etc. is a plus)
  • Knowledge of the following languages: C, C++, C# and Java 
  • Experience with Atlassian tools suite – JIRA/ Wiki/ confluence
  • Ability to read schematics, wire connection lists, etc. 
  • Oracle experience is preferred
Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge of PROFIBUS and MODBUS
  • Knowledge of hardware/software integration concepts
  • Knowledge of software version control and tools (SVN, Git, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of model based software development (Matlab, Labview)
  • Knowledge of the software development process
  • Experience in developing/writing/running test procedures
  • Experience in documentation writing experience (test procedures, Gantt charts, specification documentation) 
  • Experience with troubleshooting electrical circuits
