Job Description

Green Expert Technology Inc. (GreenXT) is seeking an Electrical Engineer.
 
The Electrical Engineer shall provide entry-level engineering support for Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) and CBM+ programs supporting U.S. Navy surface ship Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems. This role supports Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) engineering teams with shipboard electrical system assessments, sensor integration, data analysis, testing, and technical documentation in support of CBM system installation and sustainment

Job Responsibilities: ​
  • Electrical & Systems Engineering Support
    • Support CBM and CBM+ system integration for shipboard electrical and electronic systems
    • Assist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of sensors, transmitters, data acquisition hardware, and interfaces
    • Support evaluation of electrical system performance, data quality, and signal integrity
    • Assist senior engineers with investigations of electrical system deficiencies and development of corrective actions
  • Shipboard & Waterfront Support
    • Participate in ship visits to support system assessments, data validation, testing, and installation activities
    • Assist with pre- and post-installation ship checks to verify configuration accuracy
    • Support shipboard integration testing, verification, and validation activities
  • Documentation & Configuration
    • Assist in development and review of technical documentation including wiring diagrams, installation drawings, redlines, and test reports
    • Support configuration management activities and documentation of as-built electrical configurations
    • Maintain engineering records and contribute to technical and trip reports
  • Test & Data Support
    • Assist in development and execution of test procedures and test plans
    • Support data collection, test execution, and documentation of test results
    • Assist with troubleshooting hardware, cabling, grounding, and network connectivity issues
  • Program & Team Support
    • Participate in technical meetings and working groups
    • Track assigned action items and support status reporting
    • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, systems, and software engineering team members
 Required Skills: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related discipline
  • Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain this clearance upon position acceptance) is required for this position
  • 0–2 years of relevant engineering experience (internships and co-ops acceptable)
  • Fundamental understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 30 lbs
