GreenXT is seeking Senior Process Engineers to support their Navy customer in the areas of Cybersecure Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) Control Systems and Networks.

Responsibilities: 
  • Support the design and implementation of systems/processes in accordance with the Systems Engineering Process (SEP) that includes tracking tasks, ship system configurations, and software versions/deliveries
  • Design and implement automated processes for data mining and data entry, along with testing it for reporting purposes
  • Document processes and maintain/manage configuration control
  • Socialize the processes among the team and provide training
  • Develop checks to ensure that the team is utilizing the process automation toolset
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings with project, software, system, and test leads as necessary
  • Develop a plan of action by creating delivery tasks on Jira or MS Teams
  • Provide direct support to the Lead Systems Engineer
Requirements: 
  • Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain this clearance upon position acceptance) is required for this position. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering Discipline, Comp Sci or other related technical degrees
  • Experience with process improvement
  • Experience with project execution and maintenance lifecycles (i.e. training, operations, etc)
  • Experience with development, integration, and testing of automated tools that compliment processes
  • Knowledge of concepts, procedures, and current best practices with configuration management for software-based systems 
  • Knowledge of hardware/software integration concepts
  • Knowledge of the software development process
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite applications
  • Proficiency with Atlassian Jira, Wiki, and/or Confluence for configuration management
  • Experience with MS Teams collaboration and communication tools
  • Languages/interfaces:
    • JavaScript
    • Jira REST API
    • HTML
    • Word/Excel VBA, a plus
    • Ajax, Velocity, a plus
    • C/C++/C#/Java experience, a plus

  • Proficient technical writing ability 
  • Excellent oral and written communication 
  • Ability to travel ~5%
Ability to Work Remotely:  Positions are not available for full-time remote work. Work can be either full-time onsite at the Philadelphia Navy Yard or a combination of remote and onsite (hybrid). Persons accepting hybrid positions typically support onsite work 2 to 3 days/week. In addition, persons accepting hybrid positions must agree to being onsite on-demand to support any ad-hoc customer needs.   
 
Work Schedules:  GreenXT supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
